Elle Effect Photography

I’m not on here as much recently because of, well, life :]

Just letting you know I’m still alive and well. Very well, in fact.

Some things in the works:

1. Photography, photography, photography
- I haven’t had many updates recently, I’ve been bogged down with a lot of jobs, actually, and will have a MASSIVE update soon on what I’ve been shooting.

2. Dance, dance, dance
- Need I say more? This weekend has been PACKED with worship dance at church - it’s been so much fun. I love those girls more than anything. Amanda and I choreographed some sweeet moves today. Come to Perrow on Easter and see.

3. Coffee House Thoughts:
- So, some of you may have no idea what I’m talking about, but it’s coming out very soon. Ah, man, it’s awesome. You know the parable of the two farmers? Yeah, kinda taking that to heart at the moment. Both farmers prayed for rain for their fields, but the one who actually GOT the rain prepared his fields. So, let’s just say… I’m preparing my fields by working out details of the whole business aspect (with help from my Dad and other really incredible people in surrounding states- a big YEAH for connections!) and getting all the details pulled in with the financial situations, building/land situations, etc. Anyway, anyway, it’s coming together kinda slowly, but surely nonetheless. Exciting to say the least. It’s so needed and so heavy on my heart.

Side note: I’m “preparing my fields” in more than just one way- in every single aspect of my life. Preparing for the things I don’t see… like the photography job I dream about having some day, preparing NOW for it, preparing for the choreography (costumes, props, everything) in dance at church and taking our team to the streets, preparing my soul for the growth I’m longing and praying for by watering it with the Word more than just once a day (just as our body needs at least 8 glasses of water a day.. get my drift?) and well… preparing for what God has for 4th Wall, for me personally in this coming year, what I’m dreaming about to become reality… it’s coming. The rain is coming and I’ve got to be ready for it. And I will be.

4. Of course… school.
- Finishing everything up, typing those loose ends, preparing my private, crazy-fun party/graduation (you’re invited, details soon), portfolio workings (mann I need to finish it! ha. I might need some thoughts given on my final selections- any takers?) And well… all the financial aid you DON’T want to hear about :] That’s all.

5. Tryyyying to find weekends to travel to take photos in:
- Nashville (3 jobs there- CD promos, artist promo)
- Richmond (7 jobs there- bands, baby)
- and the 6 jobs I have in the surrounding area (it’s spring!)

I NEED ANOTHER MEMORY CARD. GOOD LORD.
AND A NEW LENS. GOOD LORD, GOOD LORD.

How did this become so long?! Thank you for reading this far.

BY THE WAY:
Anyone interested in helping me out with AN AWESOME photo shoot this weekend on Saturday morning at dawn (yes, dawn- for lighting purposes) LET ME KNOW. It’s going to be amazing. I need people, people, people. And sound equipment. I’ll buy you breakfast.
Hint: It’ll be at a local, beautiful cemetery.

So, I guess that’s all. This has sort of become a list of things.
And my apologizes to those who are calling me and I can’t pick up my phone- I’ve been in the zone working hard this past week. This week is looking brighter, in a sense, so calls are encouraged. I love getting messages, and I will return the call. I love you all. :]
